CORPORATE WORK

Challenge

IFB needed a quick overview of what their mission is and what their solutions are to support that mission.

Solution

I recommended we use employee hero images, I will take photography of the ones that we do not have. Stick with a cleaner more modern approach and style, more photography and graphic hierarchy than text. Include short testimonial quotes with their hero photographs. Include contact information for the Director of Marketing and Development. Include a QR code to direct them to the homepage to learn more.

Challenge

Design and create an e-blast that markets the annual fundraising Gala. Call to action needs to be ticket sales, include the visual identity that I crafted. Include photos you took at the video shoot.

Solution

Design an e-blast that stands out from standard templates and content block style.

PHILANTHROPIC WORK

Challenge

Philanthropy and Development colleagues needed a one page design that shows statistics relevant to IFB’s mission to empower people who are blind and visually impaired by giving them training and opportunities to earn a living while respecting their dignity.

Solutions

Use current brand standards. Incorporate infographics that support the impactful statistics that encourage donors to give money or time. Use a hero employee’s testimonial story to educate and support to the call to action to donate or contact the Philanthropy Director.

CHALLENGE

The Arkansas site Philanthropy team needed an e-blast design for a fundraising event benefitting employment and services for people who are blind and visually impaired. Drive RSVPs or attendance and or donate through the website. Promote the mission behind the event. Continue to build a sense of community

SOLUTION

Use the same graphics and imagery that Koffee with a Kause uses. They have a strong awareness in the city and locals support it religiously. IFB’s logo also have community recognition. Include a donate button if they want just donate and not attend, or both. Give the design custom layout style that a stand apart from standard e-blast templates.

HR WORK

Challenge

Human Resources needed a brand awareness swag package that supported marketing the company brand, while being mindful of their non-profit budget and values.

Solution

Economical bulk buy stickers, mugs, and hats. Include the tagline including braille graphic to enforce who IFB empowers without saying in the tagline.

BSC WORK

Challenge/Solution

This was a proactive pitch project for the BSC team. During my swag and marketing research for another department, it occurred to me that the U.S. Military has a large presence of “Challenge Coins”. For those that do not know, challenge coins are small medallions, often adorned with an organization's insignia or emblem, that serve various purposes, primarily within the military and other organizations. It is a great honor to receive a challenge coin. I proposed quick sketches of what our BSC team could use to gift their most valued connections, to help market and network the BSC initiatives. They quickly adopted the idea. What sold them on the idea was the concept of making their clients and vendors feel appreciated and valued, but also reminding them they are always there for their sourcing needs and BSC’s mission that each purchase creates jobs for people who are blind. The braille dots on the top/front of the coin are up to grade 1 braille standards functional for people who are blind. The three types of aircrafts represented are a nod to the three branches of government that BSC works with.
